Home Owners - No Dues No Sale
You cannot sell your house unless your dues are paid-up for the entire calendar year. Any part of the year you no longer own the house will be prorated between you and the new owner at the time of closing.
Example: You paid your annual dues of $100 to the HOA in January; then sold your house on Feb 1. The title agent will prorate the dues and you will receive a refund from the buyer for the eleven months you no longer own the home. 11/12 of $100 = $91.67 refund.
